Enjoy the Outdoors While You Exercise

Fall is a perfect time to explore exercising outdoors—the heat and humidity has subsided, the cold and ice hasn’t arrived yet and just walking out your front door can invigorate you.  It’s a wonderful time to enjoy God’s handiwork as you check out the beauty of autumn colors in the trees, fall plantings in yards and the clear skies above.  It’s a great time to visit local landmarks and historic sites, too–you can walk while you learn, and do it with friends and family, which is always a bonus. Be creative about what you plan to do outside. Walking is an easy choice-you can step out your door and get started at any time of the day or evening.
