  1. What other kinds of nut butter are good besides peanut and almond?

    • Sunflower seed butter and soy butter (marketed as “Wow”butter are great choices, too!

      • Hi Charlotte, I was wondering about tahini–could you use that as a nut butter, even though it is made from sesame seeds?

  3. What are some examples of plant proteins?

    • Any dry beans/peas (pinto/navy/Great Northern/black/garbanzo/soy beans, lentils), nuts/nut butters (peanuts, almonds, cashews, walnuts, pistachios). Lots of others, those are just off the top of my head. 🙂

  5. Great job Charlotte. You made the materials very easy to understand and practical. It is all about practical for us with busy lives and families. I too am an RDLD here in Ohio. I did my under graduate work there in Searcy Arkansas at Harding University, I miss my South . But I met and married a northern Buckeye from Church. I find FP4H the best program around. I work with WIC, so weight loss is not my specialty area. The support thru FP4H makes all the difference for those of us in Health Care. People assume we have all the answers and all the will power. Nope……. only the power of the Holy Spirit. No Nutrition degree can match that! Blessings
