Sherrie Carroll is a loyal, passionate participant, leader, past Networking Leader and currently serves on our Advisory Council. She loves sharing about First Place with anyone and everyone. She started FP4H in 2003, leading a group and served as a Networking Leader for several years. After a couple of years “sabbatical”, after her and her husband lost three parents in 15-months, she returned to the program as a leader and slowly picked up where she left off.
She lives on 60 acres in southern Michigan, surrounded by trees, nature and farm fields. Two hours can pass away very quickly while she watches 14 bird feeders and takes pictures of their feathered friends. Sherrie spends time in her sewing room making doll clothes and quilts for the Linus Project. She is most comfortable in work boots and flannel shirt, on a tractor, mowing, or trimming limbs off trees.
Sherrie is blessed with a husband she calls her best friend. They love camping and plan to explore this awesome country once it reopens to visitors. They have three children, who blessed them with three amazing in-law children, They have eight grandchildren, ages twelve & under.
