Information Meeting Friday Jan 24 10:30AM and 7:30PM Central Time provides an overview and time to familiarize yourself with the video conferencing technology.

Group size limited to ten participants, developing close connections as you journey to wellness together. Virtual meeting via video conferencing using your PC, Mac, iOS or Android device.

Your leader Shawn Maassel has a passion for helping others live balanced lives and a special heart for those who struggle with eating disorders.  She personally battled both anorexia and bulimia in her teens and early 20’s.  The stress of life resulted in periodic returns to her old ‘go to’ habits of overindulgence (which later included alcohol) and motivated her to seek to live a balanced life focused on Christ through First Place for Health.

First Place helps Shawn to stay on track with her eating (and drinking) and exercising and keeps her accountable to other Christians walking the same walk.  She no longer obsesses when the scale fluctuates a couple of pounds.
